Site Readiness & Delivery
Prepare the site for the package you have selected.
Access and transport
Confirm the route from the public road to the unloading area, including width, overhead restrictions, turning space and ground suitability. Smaller vehicles or additional handling can change cost and sequence. Module and panel dimensions need to be considered early.
Foundations and tolerances
The foundation must be designed for the structure and site conditions. The appointed designers and installer need to agree dimensions, levels, connections and acceptable tolerances. A readiness check should occur before the planned erection date.
Lifting and temporary stability
Identify component weights and how they will be moved safely. Establish who supplies and plans lifting, temporary support and the installation sequence. These responsibilities belong in the delivery plan and quoted scope.
Storage and weather protection
Agree whether materials can be installed immediately or must be stored. Consider unloading space, protection, identification and access to the components needed first. Coordinate weather-sensitive materials and work stages with supplier guidance.
A delivery readiness checklist
Before delivery, confirm approved information, foundation readiness, safe access, unloading arrangements, workforce, lifting resources and the contact responsible for receiving the package. BPM can coordinate these checks within an agreed management scope.
