BPM planning guide
From First Brief to Handover
A practical route through an offsite project.
1. Understand the brief
Tell us your objectives, site location, intended building use, available drawings, timeframe and budget expectations. We establish the support you need and the specialist expertise required.
2. Develop the package
Compare suitable systems and define the supply scope. Coordinate designers and supplier enquiries, then establish responsibilities, assumptions and exclusions. The selected route must fit the site as well as the building.
3. Agree the delivery plan
Connect design decisions, approval requirements, manufacture and site readiness. Confirm payment terms, lead times, change control and the resources needed for delivery and installation.
4. Coordinate the work
Monitor progress against the agreed programme and scope. Address interfaces between foundations, structure, services and finishes. Record decisions, changes and issues so that the customer can make informed choices.
5. Complete and hand over
Agree what completion means for each package. Record checks, outstanding items and the documentation to be provided. Product warranties and support arrangements depend on the appointed suppliers and agreed contract; they are confirmed for the project.
